Going through the historic centre of the city is to be amazed by walking through its cobbled streets and discovering its spectacular monuments. The Hostal dos Reis Católicos, the Convent of San Agustín, the Pazo de Fonseca, the Convent of San Domingos de Bonaval ... and, of course, the Praza do Obradoiro and its majestic Cathedral, astonishing from any point from which it is observed.

Gastronomy

What better way to get to know the city than through its delicious gastronomy! Visit any of the Compostela markets and taste the most typical products: pulpo (octopus) á feira, Santiago cake, Padrón peppers ... seasoned with a good wine from any of the Galician denominations. In the Abastos market you can also try our most traditional food prepared in an original way.

Parks and green areas are the best place from which to contemplate the city. The best known are the Alameda Park, San Domingos de Bonaval, Belvís or the Carballeira de San Lourenzo. From them you can enjoy the most special sunsets on your visit to Compostela.
